The Challenge: High-volume episodic production is a grind that usually requires a massive budget and a sprawling studio. We had to produce 70 episodes of a fast-paced news segment across four different languages; English, Mandarin, Spanish, and Russian; on a very tight budget. The logistical hurdle was executing a weekly turnaround for four different hosts while maintaining a consistent, high-end look for a global network that reaches over 420 million households worldwide.

The Solution: I engineered a streamlined green screen environment and a dedicated production workflow that allowed us to move as fast as the news cycle. By optimizing a minimal footprint studio space, we were able to batch-produce multiple episodes in a single day. My focus was on maintaining visual consistency across the different languages and hosts, ensuring that the low-budget setup never compromised the professional aesthetic required for international satellite and cable distribution.

Deliverables: I directed and shot over 70 episodes of a global news series that successfully reached a worldwide audience of 420 million households. The final result was a consistent high energy news segment that performed across cable satellite and online platforms while staying strictly within a lean production budget.
